Mudras


A mudra is an external expression of an inner outlook or feeling.  Mudras date back thousands of years and are part of many customs.  Yogic science utilizes hundreds of mudras to enhance meditative techniques.   These are four very simple and effective mudras to use to intensify your energy when meditating.  Each time the mudra is closed by joining the thumb with a finger, the ego seals the effect of that mudra in the consciousness. 

Gyan Mudra: (thumb & index finger) - Activates Knowledge
Shuni Mudra: (thumb & middle finger) - Enhances Wisdom, Intelligence, Patience
Surya Mudra: (thumb & ring finger) - Increases Vitality, Energy

Buddhi Mudra:(thumb & little finger) - Strengthens the ability to communicate
